FMS-BIG Chapter Holds Annual Scholarship Awards Program

On July 20, 2011, The FMS-BIG Chapter’s Scholarship Committee held its annual Scholarship Awards presentations. The Chapter awarded scholarships’ to five students. Each student received a certificate and a mock check in the amount of $750.00. The students who received the scholarships are Wendie Dixon, Jarard Stewart, Denise Williams, Shelandria Williams and Brandon Wright. Each of the students read their essays which were submitted with their scholarship application.
The FMS-BIG Chapter is proud of all the students for our 2011 Scholarship Program. We will continue to provide educational support through its Scholarship Program to benefit Chapter members, family members, and FMS employees. Since 2002, the FMS BIG Chapter has presented $26,400.00 in scholarships towards wells-deserved students.
At the conclusion of the Scholarship Program, a luncheon was provided for the students, parents, and Chapter members. Pictures were taken of the scholarship recipients with Angelene Jones-Perry, President, FMS-BIG Chapter, Arnita Fulp, Chair, Scholarship Committee and the Scholarship Committee members. I also want to say “Thank You” to Karyn Dyson, Gloria Casteel, Cheryl Dixon, and Vincent Cleveland for another successful year.
